Municipality of Kichevo

Municipality of Kicevo (Macedonian: Кичево; Albanian: Kërçovë) is a municipality in the western part of the Republic of North Macedonia. The municipal seat is the city of Kičevo. Kičevo Municipality is located in the Southwestern Statistical Region.

As a public authority, the municipality implements several initiatives in the fields of education, entrepreneurship, tourism, sustainable development, VET, are as follows:

1. Supporting entrepreneurship, business plans, start-up businesses and implementing projects that contribute to reducing unemployment in the municipality by giving them grants.
2. Subsidizing a company for a new job position.
3. Development project for self-employment – implementation of  the ongoing development project where 42 sewing machines were distributed to mothers of orphans and women who will attend the tailoring course. Upon completion of the appropriate course, a test will confirm the knowledge gained and award diplomas for the completed course. By doing so, candidates will be able to register workers and become part of the market.
